KHADAFY'S LEGACY

Why was the Khadafy Foundation for Non-Violence established?

The Khadafy Foundation for Non-Violence was established in memory of Khadafy Washington, a star athlete and graduate of McClymonds High School in Oakland, CA who was murdered on August 4, 2000, age 18, by hands still unknown.  He was the 50th murder victim in Oakland in that year.

Marilyn Washington Harris, Khadafy's mother, established The Khadafy Foundation for Non-Violence and serves as its President.
